\n Welcome to the Natural History Museum of Serres Municipality <\/h2>\n

The Museum of Natural History of the Municipality of Serres, founded in 1996 and is housed in a building in a magnificent location in the forest overlooking the town of Serres, at the 1st kilometer of the road to the Holy Monastery of Timiou Prodromos, with the aim of highlighting and protecting the natural heritage of the region, is an important cultural and educational center in Northern Greece.
\n\u03a4he museum offers its visitors a unique opportunity to get to know the rich fauna of the Serres area. From rare birds and animals to extensive collections from local ecosystems, the museum is a window into the wildlife and biodiversity that characterize our place.<\/p>\n

Our mission is to educate, research and raise public awareness of the need to protect the natural environment. Through our permanent and periodic exhibitions, but also through experiential educational activities, the museum actively contributes to the understanding and protection of our natural heritage.
